"The Flying Spaghetti Monster in Piss" to be exhibited in Dallas

The Flying Spaghetti Monster in Piss by Peter Van Pulleypull

DALLAS -  The Dallas Museum of Art announced today that it will display the controversial art of Peter Van Pulleypull. His piece “The Flying Spaghetti Monster in Piss” was created through a $320,000 grant from the taxpayer-funded National Endowment of the Arts. When questioned by reporters about the absurdity of public funds being wasted on art, Van Pulleypull replied, “well this is freedom of speech and I’m an artist you bitch an artist!” When questioned further about how his art offends Pastafarians and if this is all just a stunt to gain notoriety, Van Pulleypull, snarled angrily “they hate me cause I’m so gay and gayed-out, I’m like super-gay that’s why they hate my art. I have like freedom of speech or something you know.”
The artwork is described by critics as “darkly beautiful photographic image… the small plastic cup becomes virtually monumental as it floats the monster in the artist own piss, photographically enlarged, in a deep rosy glow that is both ominous and glorious."  Prints can be purchased for $1200.00 during the exhibition that is expected to last thru August.
